Residual Income Websites

I had a bit of a ’spring clean’ on my trusty MacBook today, and came across a few short articles I wrote last year that appear to have been in hibernation. My plan is to get them online, and get them working for me on a residual income site.
But which one? The only one I’ve used so far is Helium, where I posted a quaint little piece about my favourite fellas through the years – my guinea pigs. The site features a Marketplace where publishers post titles for articles they need, and Helium members submit their work in the hope of receiving the stated payment if it’s chosen. Competition may be a little stiff on the more popular subjects, but it seems like a better bet than submitting articles to Helium itself, where payment is simply a share of the advertising revenue that’s generated by them.
The other residual income site that’s caught my eye is Suite 101. Unlike Helium, you have to prove yourself before you can start writing for them, by submitting a few writing samples on your chosen subject. You also have to commit to 10 articles every 3 months, to ‘generate the level of activity required to produce results’.
I found an interesting post reviewing the pros and cons of Suite 101 over at The Freelance Home Writer, and as I am already aware of Suite’s prominance in search engine results, I would be inclined to go with them.
I’d be interested to know peoples views on both Helium and Suite, and any similar sites…

The article is usefull for me. I’ll be coming back to your blog.
